The Final AP and USA Today Polls for men’s basketball were released today. The ACC did quite well.
North Carolina AP 7 Coaches 6
Duke AP 9 Coaches 9
NC State AP 10 Coaches 13
Clemson AP 14 Coaches 15
No other conference had as many. After a sterling tournament that saw the conference have 4 Sweet 16 teams, 3 Elite 8 Teams, and A Final Four team with NC State, the ACC more than made up for a perceived lackluster regular luster regular season. Well, perceived only to those who don’t watch college basketball.
In 2023 Miami was a top 3 team, and the ACC had 3 top 25 teams. In 2022 UNC and Duke Finished a 2 and 3 with Miami 16,
Now how does the ACC take these March successes and have it become the narrative for the entire course of the season?
