Bruce Brown missed Miami's game against Boston University tonight in which the Canes won 69-54.

Brown, who is coming off a season-high 17-point performance in a win against Princeton on Saturday, is out due with a left finger injury and was wearing a brace on the sidelines. Brown is also expected to miss Miami's next game on Dec. 16 at George Washington, but there is hope he will be ready to play in the Diamond Head Classic in Hawaii beginning on Dec. 23.

"That's what the doctors have told me--that it's something that needs about two or three weeks to heal or three or four weeks to heal," head coach Jim Larranaga said. "He played against Princeton on Dec. 2. We play Dec. 22 and he'll probably have to tape those two fingers together--I had to do that when I was in college my entire career so I don't think it will hurt him at all. It certainly didn't hurt him against Princeton."
