According to Whitelaw Reid, Virginia's Paul Jesperson will transfer.
A source tells me that #UVa sophomore guard Paul Jesperson has been granted his release and will transfer. More details to come.

Jesperson's departure comes largely due to a jampacked roster at Virginia. With Jontel Evans the only departure and 4 players incoming, some attrition was to be expected. Brian over at StreakingTheLawn.com just posted a great article on Virginia's roster situation. Here's a snippet, but go check out the full article.
A Virginia basketball program that has played short-handed in recent memory will suddenly find itself with a great deal of playable depth next season. The Cavaliers lose only one player to graduation in 2013 (point guard Jontel Evans) and will add four players to the depth chart next fall. True freshmen Devon Hall and London Perrantes will join sophomores Anthony Gill and Malcom Brogdon to give Tony Bennett's team 13 scholarship players. But the flock of new players may have some unwanted roster ramifications down the road. Virginia will feature seven sophomores next year. If that class stays in tact, it will leave quite the roster hole when it graduates.
Jesperson confirmed his transfer with his tweet...
I want to thank my teammates and coaches for my experience at UVA. I wish the best for them and look forward to continuing my career. #hoos
