Just a short post for tonight… 2 Weeks ago the ACC tournament picture looked nice and tidy – 5 locks (Virginia, Syracuse, UNC, Duke, and Pittsburgh)
It’s completely been turned upside down since. Pittsburgh loses at home to Florida State and N.C. State to slide back towards the bubble. Florida State has won 4 of their last 5 with a home game with reeling Syracuse left. The Noles have UMASS and VCU wins in their back pocket too.
NC State could end on a two game winning streak if they beat BC, and they have a win over Tennessee. The Wolfpack with a little noise in the ACCT have a shot.
Clemson is still alive too. Despite a crippling loss to Wake Forest, if they beat Pittsburgh they will finish 20-10 (11-7) with a win over Duke. They are in the picture. Can all 4 make it? Unlikely in my opinion you have 4 teams playing for 2 spots. It’s going to be a wild finish.
