Here are my rankings after week nine of ACC football.
1. Florida State (7-0) One of the last big tests of the season coming up Thursday against Louisville.
2. Duke (6-1) The Blue Devils were on a bye last week.
3. Clemson (6-2) The defense really stepped up against Syracuse.
4. Louisville (6-2) The national spotlight will be on them this week.
5. Georgia Tech (6-2) The Yellow Jackets forced four first quarter fumbles on the way to a rout of Pitt.
6. Miami (4-4) Duke Johnson showed why he's the best running back in the ACC.
7. North Carolina (4-4) Once again, Marquise Williams saves the day.
8. Virginia (4-4) The calls for Mike London's job are growing.
9. Boston College (5-3) The Eagles needed a late interception to beat Wake Forest.
10. Pittsburgh (4-4) The Panthers fumbled six times in their loss to Georgia Tech.
11. Virginia Tech (4-4) The Hokies offense is just abysmal.
12. Syracuse (3-5) To say the offense is lacking might be an understatement.
13. NC State (4-4) The Wolfpack had a bye, so they couldn't lose another ACC game.
14. Wake Forest (2-6) The Deacs hung with Boston College, but a costly pick late cost them.
