A rundown of tonight's Triad Pro Am summer league action featuring several Wake Forest players.
Aaron Rountree
Tree was arguably the most impressive Deacon on the night. He had the stamina to play at an intense level for two consecutive games. By my count, he finished the first game with 32 points, 7 rebounds and five assists. What was most promising for Deacon fans tonight was that Aaron knocked down a number of three pointers. I didn't keep track, but I think he made at least five on a decent percentage. He has played very well the past two times out and will hopefully be a bigger contributor this season.
Codi Miller-McIntyre
CMM had another strong shooting night tonight and finished his game with 28 points and 8 assists. He knocked down many three pointers and was aggressive in looking for his shot. He looks ready to make the transition to two guard if that's something Manning wants him to do.
MItchell Wilbekin
Tonight Mitchell made his Pro Am debut and was impressive. He made 6 of his 9 three point attempts and finished the evening with 18 points. He played with a good tempo and ran a good two-man game with Devin Thomas. He's small, but has decent quickness. His outside will certainly be an asset to this year's Wake Forest team.
Andre Washington
Andre finished the night with 14 points and 7 rebounds. I was critical of him last week, but he played much better tonight. He attacked the rim when given a chance and didn't turn the ball over.
If you have questions about another player, please ask in the comments and I'll do my best to answer. If anyone else was in attendance and shared a different opinion than I did, I encourage you to let me know in the comments.
