Virginia Tech vs. Boston College: The Eagles won their Red Bandana Game, defeating the Hokies 17-3. Boston College got uplifted before the game with the announcement that Phil Jurkovek was cleared to return and start at quarterback. Jurkovec threw for 112 yards and ran for 65 yards and a touchdown. Pat Garwo III ran for 116 yards and a touchdown for Boston College. The BC defense held Virginia Tech to only 73 total passing yards. For the Hokies, Malachi Thomas ran for 70 yards and Raheem Blackshear ran for 67 yards.
