After three consecutive losses by two points or less, the Golden Bears erupted for a 44-7 win over the Beavers. It is Cal's first win over Oregon State since 2021. In three-quarters of action, quarterback Fernando Mendoza was 27-36 for a career-high 364 yards and two touchdowns. Mendoza also scored from 15 yards out when Jaivian Thomas lateraled the ball back to him. Wide receiver Trond Grizzell caught five passes for 95 yards and Nyziah Hunter had four catches for 85 yards and a touchdown.
