The Miami Hurricanes stayed undefeated and advanced to 8-0 on the season with the 36-14 win over in-state rival Florida State. Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward completed 22 of 35 passes for 208 yards in the win. While he didn’t pass or rush for a touchdown for the first time all season, Ward did catch a touchdown pass from tight end Elijah Arroyo. Miami running back Damien Martinez carried the ball 15 times for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead the Hurricanes ground attack.
