The Charlotte Hornets got a look at a local prospect today.
Former Wake Forest guard Codi Miller-McIntyre worked out today for the Charlotte Hornets. Charlotte also worked out Oklahoma's Isaiah Cousins, Virginia's Anthony Gill, Purdue's A.J. Hammons, Louisville's Chinanu Onauaku, and Gonzaga's Kyle Wiltjer. He has also worked out for the Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, and Sacramento Kings. Codi is currently ranked by NBADraft.net as being the 48th best senior. Draft Express, however, does not have him ranked.

Codi was a four-year starter for the Demon Deacons, and scored more than 1,300 points during his career, while also dishing out nearly 450 assists. His senior year was not nearly as strong as his junior season, but that can be attributed to recovering from a broken foot. He's extremely athletic, but shot just 28% from beyond the arc during his career, as well as just 63% from the charity stripe.
It's highly doubtful that Codi will be selected in next Thursday's NBA Draft, but he will likely receive invitations to play on NBA summer league teams. Either way, he has the potential to make a good career overseas, and that's a massive accomplishment.
