Talking to the media at the 2023-24 ACC Tipoff, Commissioner Jim Phillips addressed the additions of Cal, Stanford and SMU by mentioning that the ACC used to be a regional conference and now they are a national conference by adding large markets in San Francisco and Dallas/Fort Worth. Phillips added that they have addressed concerns head on and that he has never been more bullish about the health of the ACC.
