It’s been long while since we’ve talked about the future ACC Network. We know it’s coming in 2019, but news or progress has been in short supply since the announcement.
Some news may start to be trickling in. In an article about the Pac 12 Network’s struggles, this nugget was inside.
“Another player will enter the competition in a couple of years. The Atlantic Coast Conference, in conjunction with ESPN, will launch its network in 2019. One industry insider thinks that deal “will blow the Pac-12 away.”
Take this for what’s it’s worth, and this was primarily a Pac 12 Network, but I found the comment interesting that an article independent of the ACC made this statement.
We’ll see, but anything that’s positive is better than negative. At the moment there isn’t any reason to think the ACC Network can’t be a success, and I think all ACC fans are looking forward to it.
