Best of luck to Michaelee in his new role.
Former Louisville wide receiver Michaelee Harris has joined the coaching staff of the Miami Hurricanes, where he will serve as an offensive graduate assistant. Harris worked in a similar role on the Illinois staff last season.
Cardinal fans rarely got to see Harris at full strength. The former 4-star recruit who teamed up with Teddy Bridgewater at Miami Northwestern High School suffered multiple knee injuries that limited his effectiveness in college.
Harris’ best season came as a redshirt freshman in 2011, when he caught 37 passes for 455 yards and two touchdowns before a torn ACL kept him out of that season's Belk Bowl. He left U of L with 763 receiving yards and five touchdown catches over three seasons to play his final year at Akron. Unfortunately, Harris suffered yet another ACL tear that kept him from seeing the field for the Zips.
Best of luck to Michaelee in the next step of his career.
