Georgia Tech power forward Robert Carter has a torn meniscus and is out indefinitely for the Yellow Jackets. The news comes at a bad time, as the Yellow Jackets start conference play on Saturday.
A torn meniscus can be treated in one of a couple ways, either repairing or simply trimming away pieces causing discomfort. The latter allows a much quicker recovery time, although the doctors won't know Carter's path until the surgery is performed most likely.
Look for Kammeon Holsey to see an increase in playing time in Carter's absence.
