In a tough battle between two teams desperately in need of a win, the North Carolina Tar Heels outlasted the Boston College Eagles in overtime, 102-96. R.J. Davis scored a team-high 22 points while Ian "Captain Jack" Jackson had a slow start but scored 15 of his team-high 19 points in the 2nd half as the two teams battled in a game that saw 16 ties and 10 lead changes. Seth Trimble scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Jalen Washington scored a career-high 18 points on 7-10 shooting for Hubert Davis' squad. Donald Hand had a remarkable game, scoring a game-high 26 points on 5-8 shooting from three-point range while Dion Brown also had a career game, scoring 20 points on 8-11 shooting, including 4-5 from deep.
