It was believed for some time that Miami was the favorite to land the former Kansas State point guard, but it appears it is finally now confirmed. Jeff Goodman of CBS Sports tweeted that not only is he headed to Miami but seeking a hardship waiver that would allow him to play immediately.
Angel Rodriguez will also attempt to get a hardship waiver from the NCAA to play next season at Miami, source told CBSSports.

That waiver would be dependent likely upon whether or not the NCAA decides Miami is actually "close" to his Puerto Rico home. Rodriguez reportedly left Kansas State to be closer to his family.
