Much has been made in recent weeks of what the opening line in the much-hyped Louisville-Kentucky basketball game would be, and now both Cardinal and Wildcat fans have their answer.
UK has opened as a 2.5-point favorite over its arch-rivals, a line which has yet to move in either direction. A year ago the game opened as a pick 'em, but Kentucky was a 6-point favorite by the time the game tipped off inside the KFC Yum Center.
Louisville has not beaten Kentucky in a game it wasn't favored to win since a 65-56 victory on Dec. 27, 2003.
