No. 8 is good. He’s real good.
If anyone in the country had forgotten about Lamar Jackson being the best player in the college football, he made them remember on Saturday.
Jackson accounted for 525 total yards and six touchdowns as Louisville out-dueled North Carolina Saturday afternoon in Chapel Hill. Jaylen Smith had nine catches for a career-high 183 yards and one touchdown for Louisville, while Dez Fitzpatrick hauled in two touchdown catches. Malik Williams carried the ball 13 times for 149 yards as the Cardinals rolled up 705 total yards as a team.

Suffice it to say, Andre Smith and the North Carolina defense did not “stop everything” Lamar “tried to do.”
Obviously, Louisville has some stuff to shore up on the defensive end (and in kick coverage), but my word ... I’ll say it again: No. 8 is a once in a generation talent. Savor this.
