An absolute beatdown in Raleigh.

Louisville shot 63.6 percent from the field and connected on 11-of-19 (57.9%) attempts from beyond the arc on its way to a 91-66 beatdown of NC State Wednesday night in Raleigh.
If that sounds extremely good, that’s because it was extremely good.
Louisville’s game at NC State is its first in program history in which it surpassed 60% field goal shooting, 50% three-point shooting, and 90% free throw shooting.

The Cardinals also set a new season record for most points by a Wolfpack opponent at the Lenovo Center. The previous high was 74 points set by Florida State ... in overtime.
U of L’s sparkling offensive output was more than enough to win comfortably over an NC State team that shot just 36.1 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from deep.
Reyne Smith and Terrence Edwards led the Louisville charge, each scoring 21 points. J’Vonne Hadley added 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists, while Chucky Hepburn — returning to the starting lineup after missing Saturday’s game agaisnt Miami because of a groin injury — chipped in 15 points and six assists.

Louisville now has 12 ACC wins on Feb. 12. Twelve is also the total number of games the Cardinals won over the past two seasons combined. But you knew that.
Want an even cooler 2024-25 team fact? We are HAMMERING teams on the road at a historic rate.
The 2025 team is the first in 111 seasons of Louisville men’s basketball to have five 20-point wins on opponents’ home courts.

There were many people, myself included, who thought this was a dangerous spot for the Cardinals.
NC State had been in basically every game it had played during the conference season, and it was a guard-driven team going up against a Louisville team with a less than 100 percent starting point guard.
And yet ... all-out, full-on, complete ass kicking.
Soak up the nights like these with this group while you can.
