Teague is one of the hottest names on the transfer market right now.
UNC Asheville transfer Macio Teague visited U of L over the weekend, this according to Jody Demling of Cardinal Authority.
Teague averaged 16.7 points and 4.4 rebounds as a sophomore last season for UNCA. He would have to sit out the 2018-19 season per NCAA transfer rules, but would have two seasons of eligibility remaining after that.
The Big South freshman of the year in 2017 season and a first-team all-conference selection last season, Teague is one of the hottest names on the transfer market right now. The Cincinnati native is being heavily pursued by Virginia, Baylor, Oregon, Ohio State and Xavier, among others.
Here’s Teague in action at UNC-Asheville:
Louisville seems to be playing from behind in this recruitment, but it goes without saying that this kid would be a huge addition for the future.
Follow the Dwayne Sutton path to success, Macio.
