With Jawon Pass out with an injury, the Cardinals gave Malik Cunningham the start at quarterback. Cunningham was productive, completing 8 of 16 passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns while also running for 46 yards. Wide receiver Tutt Atwell also had an impressive day for Louisville, catching four passes for 141 yards resulting in three touchdowns. For Western Kentucky, quarterback Steven Duncan was 25-47 for 245 yards and three touchdowns.
