Despite not having an NBA franchise in the city, Louisville was again the top market for the NBA Draft for at least the third straight year.

A year ago, Louisville drew an 8.5 rating for the draft, 3.5-points higher than the two runner-up markets, Philadelphia and Greensboro. That rating was the highest ever for the Derby City.
Louisville was also once again the only city in the top 10 metered markets for the draft that exists in a state which can't claim an NBA franchise.
