The Louisville men’s basketball team will have to wait a little bit longer to make its March debut. So much for a casino app giving us a pick option.
The Cardinals’ scheduled Wednesday night game at Virginia Tech has been canceled. The only saving grace for U of L is that this time the Covid issues are with the Hokies and not themselves.
Still, this is a Quadrant 1 opportunity taken away at the 11th hour. It also leaves Louisville with just one more opportunity — Saturday’s Senior Day game against Virginia — to get itself ready for Greensboro and the ACC tournament.
So it goes.
