Vanderbilt vs. NC State: The Wolfpack defeated the Commodores 80-65 in the Hoophall Miami Invitational. North Carolina State never trailed Vanderbilt in the win. Junior Markell Johnson scored 19 points to lead the Pack, and was the go-to player late in the second half. Johnson also dished out 6 assists and grabbed 7 rebounds. Sophomore D.J. Funkerburk also had a solid game scoring 16 points and hauling in 5 rebounds.
