Virginia Tech vs. NC State: The #24 Wolfpack won their 15th straight home game by defeating Virginia Tech, 22-21. After going into halftime up 3-0, Virginia Tech scored 21 consecutive points in the third quarter to take a commanding lead, but the Wolfpack led by freshman quarterback MJ Morris stormed back to win the game. Morris, playing in his first action of the season, completed 20 of 29 passes for 265 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Thayer Thomas caught 10 passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns. For Virginia Tech, Grant Wells threw for 243 yards and a touchdown and ran for two more touchdowns. Kaleb Smith caught three passes for 141 yards and a touchdown.
