With news of Pitt head coach Jamie Dixon moving on to TCU on Monday, we started looking at potential replacements for the Panthers. As stated yesterday, my personal pick would have been for Arizona head coach and former Pitt player Sean Miller. Miller, however, said he wasn't interested in the job earlier today:

There are plenty of other coaches for Pitt but that one's a significant blow. Miller is an ace recruiter, an alum that could have considered this a dream job of sorts, and despite not reaching a Final Four, has had success in the NCAA Tournament.
It's difficult to imagine Pitt landing another guy with Miller's credentials and for a lot of people, he would have been considered the top pick. Many people weren't all that happy to see Dixon leave (as evidenced in our poll) but Miller was probably the one candidate that almost everyone could have united around.
On to the next one, folks.
