SU stands pat in the national polls. Whatever.
The Syracuse Orange basketball team racked up two wins to start the 2014-2015 season and the pollsters seemed to agree that doing so meant they could stay where they were.
Here's the AP Poll:

In the Coaches Poll (found here), the Orange clock in at No. 24. Potential 2K Classic opponent, Iowa, lurks at No. 25 while other upcoming SU opponents in the poll include No. 3 Duke, No. 6 UNC, No. 8 Louisville, No. 12 Villanova and No. 22 Michigan.
PollSpeak has moved on to the pollster in the sky so it's a little hard to break down specific voters. I did look at some familiar names to see what they're up to. Our old friend Ron Morris is not a fan and doesn't have SU in his poll. Same goes for Jon Wilner. Seth Davis isn't impressed so far and even Dick Vitale's intern didn't think enough of us so far. We've got a ways to go. Kudos to Bret Strelow for slotting us up at No. 18, though I worry he might be padding us so Duke's & UNC's wins over us look better.
