Towson vs Virginia: The 5th-ranked Virginia Cavaliers started the defense of their ACC title with a dominant 73-42 win over Towson. Ty Jerome led the Cavaliers with 20 points and De'Andre Hunter had 13 points and 10 rebounds in his first game since returning from a season-ending injury last spring. The Cavaliers continue to have a strong defense as they held Towson to just 31.7% shooting on the night.
