Canisius vs Miami: The Hurricanes won their season opener 77-67 over Canisius in Coral Gables. The Miami offense controlled things down low, scoring 42 of their 77 points from inside the paint. Kameron McGusty was the Canes leading scorer with 20 points and he also grabbed 10 rebounds. Charlie Moore had 14 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Anthony Walker came off the bench are scored 14 points.
