Wake Forest vs. Miami: The top-seeded Miami Hurricanes escaped with a 74-72 win over the ninth-seeded Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the quarterfinals of the 2023 New York Life ACC Men's Basketball Tournament. The 'Canes opened the 2nd half outscoring the 'Deacs 25-14 to build a 61-43 lead that proved to be too much for a hard-charging Wake team to overcome. Jordan Miller led Miami with 18 points and 9 rebounds while Tyree Appleby paced Wake Forest with a game-high 24 points in the loss.
