The 'Canes got a much-needed 82-74 victory at home over rival Virginia Tech. Kyshawn George and Norchad Omier each scored 16 points and combined for 12 rebounds. Matthew Cleveland chipped in with a double-double notching 15 points and grabbing 13 boards for UM. Sean Pedulla had a game-high 21 points with 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the Hokies.
