The wild game had 12 different lead changes and was tied 15 times. Wake Forest's Hunter Sallis scored a career-high 33 points to lead all scorers. Sallis also had six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Carr finished the game with 15 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks in the game for Wake Forest. DJ Horne scored a season-high 31 points on 13-21 shooting for NC State. Mohamed Diarra added 13 points and 12 rebounds.
