The Eagles came back from a 17-point second half deficit to defeat Miami for the second time this season. Boston College jumped out to a fast start behind the hot shooting of Joe Trapani. BC implemented some rare full court pressure and they were able to force a few turnovers. Boston College quickly fell behind as Miami reverted to their zone defense.
There appeared a time late in the first half where the Eagles looked completely out of it. But in the second half Reggie Jackson came alive sparking the Eagles with 17 points. Jackson was able to slash to the rim and really dominated down the stretch. Trapani added in a career high 31 points in the win.
Let us hope that this win can jump start the team. They desperately need a boost of confidence and swagger and I think Reggie may have provided that with his brilliant second half performance.
