Virginia Tech vs. North Carolina: The 7th-seeded Hokies defeated the 3rd-seeded Tar Heels, 72-59, and Virginia Tech will be advancing to their first-ever ACC Men's Basketball Tournament Championship Game. The Hokies led by six at halftime, they then started the second half with a 9-0 to push the lead to 15, and not UNC would never cut the lead to below 11 after that. Virginia Tech hit nine three-pointers while holding North Carolina to 3-26 shooting from behind the three-point line. Darius Maddox led the Hokies in scoring with 20 points, hitting on four of five three-point attempts. Keve Aluma had 18 points, four rebounds, and three assists. For UNC, Armado Bacot had another double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Brady Manek, R.J. Davis, and Caleb Love each scored 10 points.
