The Virginia Tech Hokies pulled away late in a back-and-forth battle against the Florida State Seminoles inside Cassell Coliseum. Hunter Cattoor scored a team-high 20 points, Sean Pedulla tallied 19, and Tyler Nickel added 15 points for Mike Young's team. Jamir Watkins scored a game-high 26 points for Leonard Hamilton's squad in a losing effort.
