The defense of the Demon Deacons had 2.0 sacks, 5.0 tackles for loss, and snagged 2 interceptions including Nick Anderson's game clincher with :28 seconds to go. Ashton Daniels threw for 214 yards and a touchdown and Elic Ayomanor hauled in 11 receptions for 96 yards. Stanford's defense forced 4 turnovers.
