Here are my rankings after week five in ACC football.
1. Florida State (4-0) The Noles scored 49 points in the final three quarters.
2. Clemson (2-2) Deshaun Watson, like most quarterbacks, tore apart the UNC defense.
3. Virginia (3-2) The Cavs surpassed last season's win total with their win over Kent State.
4. Georgia Tech (4-0) The Yellow Jackets were on a bye.
5. Duke (4-1) Anthony Boone had one of the his worst games ever.
6. Louisville (4-1) The Cardinals beat the Deacs with a backup quarterback and a fourth string running back.
7. Pittsburgh (3-2) That loss to Akron was inexcusable.
8. Virginia Tech (3-2) It wasn't pretty early, but the Hokies got back on the winning track.
9. Boston College (3-2) The Eagles allowed Colorado State to score 10 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.
10. Miami (3-2) Brad Kaaya and Duke Johnson played really well in the win over Duke.
11. NC State (4-1) Great first quarter, bad other three quarters.
12. North Carolina (2-2) Another abysmal efensive effort.
13. Syracuse (2-2) The Orange forced five turnovers, and still lost.
14. Wake Forest (2-3) The rushing offense is the worst in the country.
