Brissett is a 4-star on 247Sports, listed as 6-foot-7 and 190 pounds. He currently attends Findlay Prep in Nevada, although Brissett is Canadian. He's pulled in quite a few offers, including ones from Maryland, USC, UCLA, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Boston College. He plays for Canada Elite's AAU team as well.
With Coach Jim Boeheim's speculation that Tyler Lydon may be headed for the NBA next season, Syracuse will continue to look for solid front-court guys like Brissett to add depth. SU has offered a handful of front-court guys for 2017: C Mohamed Bamba, C Nick Richards, PF Andre Rafus and C Bourama Sidibe. Richards has recently named Cuse in his Top 5 and visited in early July.
The 2017 and 2018 recruiting classes are going to be interesting ones to watch if Jim Boeheim retires on his currently scheduled plan, but that plan may be a little up in the air at the moment.
