Clemson was almost the 2nd ACC team to fall to Liberty this season and almost the 2nd ACC team to be beat by a Curry.
KC Rivers scored 32 points and added 11 rebounds to lead Clemson to a late surge past Liberty and win 80-75. Trevor Booker added 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks in the win.
Liberty had already knocked off Virginia earlier in the season, and appeared on their way once again thanks to Seth Curry. Curry, the younger brother of Stephen Curry, finished with 24 points on 9-16 shooting and 6-9 shooting from behind the line. His older brother just beat NC State yesterday while adding 44 points, so Seth seemingly was just trying to keep up.
Liberty had a 3 point lead with just under 5 minutes remaining, but Clemson went on a run to end the game holding Liberty scoreless for nearly 4 minutes.
Factor of the Game
The factor of the game was assist/turnover ratio. The top graph is the points game flow while the bottom chart is assist/turnover ratio. As Clemson started to share and take care of the ball they started their key run in the last 5 minutes. Conversely, Liberty started to turn the ball over and were forced to play one-on-one.
