In a back-and-forth battle throughout the game, the Virginia Tech Hokies earned a big road win over the NC State Wolfpack, 84-78. The game had an "old-school" ACC feel, with 15 lead changes and 7 ties. Five players scored in double figures for Mike Young's club, led by Hunter Cattoor's 16 points. Casey Morsell led the Pack with 19 points while DJ Horne added 16 points in the loss.
