It wasn’t a run away win by any means, but Duke rarely let Albany to within single digits throughout the game on Friday afternoon. The Blue Devils got their first win in the NCAA Tournament since March 20, 2011 and got the monkey off their backs from the first round loss to Lehigh last year. Seth Curry (10-14 for 26 points) and Mason Plumlee (9-11 for 23 points) led the way in defeating an Albany team that shot 60% from three-point range. That number is nearly double their average on the year and nearly allowed the Great Danes to form an improbable upset. Highlights will be added below as they become available.
