The 6-10 PF has committed to play for the Deacs next season
In the wake of recent transfers, the Wake Forest coaching staff has wasted no time in trying to secure solid replacements to bolster the roster for next season. Today the staff picked up a commit from 6-10, 240lb power forward Christian Lorng.
Wake Forest just picked up a commitment from Christian Lorng, a source tells @247Sports. Played this past season at Hargrave.

Lorng is listed as a 3-star recruit and the 69th best power forward of the 2018 class by 247 sports. He had competing scholarship offers from USF and Creighton.
While Lorng is not as highly rated as some of our other recruits in the 2018 class, his size should allow him to fill some of the gaps created by the departures of Donovan Mitchell and Sam Japhet-Mathias. After all, you can’t teach size.
From the little bit I have seen of Lorng, it looks like he has a decent shot from the perimeter for a big man and nice touch around the rim.
