Pittsburgh lost to Cincinnati on Tuesday night 44-43 in a game that set college basketball back a few years and gave the Panthers their first loss of the season. Pitt had the lead late, but Cincinnati got a putback in the final minute and the Panthers were unable to score in the final possessions. The final minute was pretty indicative of the game as Cincinnati dominated the boards throughout. Many thought Pitt was a pretender so far this season and they did nothing to prove otherwise.
FSU was impressive beating a solid Charlotte 49ers team 106-62. Aaron Thomas scored 22 points in the first half and finished with 26 in the Seminoles victory.
Wake Forest trailed St. Bonaventure at half before coming back to win 77-62. The Demon Deacons outscored St. Bonaventure 49-26 in the second half.
