Pittsburgh's Xavier Johnson is preparing to head into a highly-anticipated sophomore season. Johnson was one of the best freshmen in the ACC last season, leading Pitt in points, assists and minutes per game. He scored 15.5 points per game (11th in the ACC) and had 4.5 assists per game (5th in the ACC) in 2018-19. Pitt will still be a fairly young team in the 2019-20 season, but with talented young players like Xavier Johnson and Trey McGowens, the Panthers expect to see much more success this season.
