The talented shooting guard should be in Winston-Salem soon.
Michael Jennings, 247's Wake Forest Insider, tweeted this afternoon that Eli Wright has rescheduled his official visit to Wake Forest for August 21st. Wright, Wake Forest's top shooting guard target for the class of 2016, was initially scheduled to visit Wake Forest this past weekend.

Wake Forest fans, myself included, were worried last week when Evan Daniels reported that Wright would not be taking his official visit to Wake Forest on August 1st, as initially scheduled. However, Jennings' news gives me new confidence in the recruitment of Wright. This is excellent for Wake fans, as Wright is the scorer and attacker that this program needs.
Wright is now healthy, and the 4-star prospect has been impressing many scouts and college coaches with his performances over the past month. In the past month, he has earned scholarship offers from Iowa State, UNLV, Florida, and UConn. Eli has been a top target of Manning's for some time now, and I sincerely hope that Manning is able to secure a commitment either on the August 21st official visit, or some time shortly afterwards.
