Cade Klubnik fought hard all game, finishing with 342 total yards with 2 rushing touchdowns in the win, but his lone interception put an end to the team's comeback bid after LaNorris Sellers gave the Gamecocks the late lead. Sellers finished the game with 164 passing yards and 166 rushing yards in the win. All four touchdowns were scored off rushes by the quarterbacks.
