Heels lose 65-58 to Virginia and Bacot to Injury

North Carolina vs. Virginia: For the eighth�consecutive time, the Cavaliers defeated the Tar Heels at John Paul Jones Arena, this time winning 65-58. Armando Bacot left the game early in the first half with an ankle injury. Virginia flipped momentum in the middle of the second half with a 9-0 run that turned a UNC three-point lead into a six-point UVA lead. Ben Vander Plas scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds�to lead Virginia. Armaan Franklin had 12 points and nine rebounds. For North Carolina, Caleb Love had 13 points, five assists and three�rebounds. R.J. Davis added 16 points.�
