Defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux will be one of the first few players to be selected in the 2022 NFL Draft. And when being compared to current NFL players, Thibodeaux believes Defensive Player of the Year T.J. Watt is a proper fit.

In Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports, Thibodeaux was present for a discussion about the 2022 NFL Draft. The 21-year-old defensive end was asked about possible comparisons to current NFL players, he admitted that he and Watt play in a similar way while also claiming that he could do several things for any defence which is why many users from best Canada online casino love the player.

When compared to Watt, Thibodeaux said: “That is the type of player I am. I’m very versatile. I’m tall. I’m long. I can run in the open field. I can cover. I can pass rush. I can set edges. I’ll be used, like you said, in that outside linebacker position. You come to realize that anybody picked in the top five are gonna be used on all four downs. For me, I have to make sure I’m ready for first and second to run stop. Then pass rush and also coverage. You’ve got to have a colourful plate, as they say in the nutrition world. You got your proteins. You got your greens. You got your carbs and everything to make sure you’re ready to take on the world.”

As for what he has to offer to NFL general managers before the draft, the defensive end said he is willing to learn more about the game of football and deepen his knowledge and he also went on to claim that he could be a top-level leader and he might just be a user of best online casino australia.

“That, one, I’m not just a football player and a great athlete,” Thibodeaux added. “I’m also a GA. I’m also a student of the game. I want to teach the game. I want to bring guys with me. I’m a leader. I’m very gregarious. I like to have a culture, right? One thing that Mario Cristobal really taught me and I took away from him was culture. If you’re a man of culture, you’re a man who can lead a group. If you want to go fast, go by yourself. If you want to go far, go together. I feel like I’m the perfect person to reciprocate that message. They say player-led teams win championships. Because of the COVID year, I’ve really taken a step in my leadership and my development on how to lead my peers. Not just talking about it, but being about it and have guys come with me.”

In his 32 games registered from 2019-21, Thibodeaux was able to record 123 tackles, 19 sacks and seven pass deflections at Oregon, where he was regarded as an impact leader.
