NC State has decided to postpone their International trip scheduled for this summer.
NC State's roster has turned over quite a bit since last year's disappointing 16-17 team. The trip would have allowed Mark Gottfried's team to practice 10 days prior to the trip as well as play 3 games while touring Italy.

With the U.S. State Department’s recent European Travel Alert, N.C. State decided it would be safer to postpone its international trip until 2017, according to Fred Demarest, an associate athletic director at N.C. State.
There are pluses and minuses to the canceled trip for the Wolfpack. With so many new parts on the roster, the trip could have helped a young Wolfpack team. But with freshman point guard Dennis Smith and senior guard Terry Henderson coming off major injuries, there’s less of a risk of rushing them back before either is ready.
