Former Cardinals lineman Korey Cunningham, who has been traded, will now be getting ready for a new season with his new team. For this article we teamed up with Matthew Jordan, journalist for FootballPredictions.com but with a passion for the NFL as well.

The former Cincinnati tackle was reported to be getting ready for the final preseason game for Arizona at Eenver before receiving a last minute call confirming he has been traded on Wednesday morning. His new team, New England Patriots, signed him in exchange for a sixth-round pick and they want him integrated to the team as soon as possible.

Having joined the Patriots, Cunningham said via Masslive: “It was eye-opening and very humbling.”

With the Pats right and left tackle underperforming in their three preseason game, manager Bill Belichick didn't have a need for a fourth game before thinking up on a solution to fix his team. Cunningham was immediately made the top New England top reserve at left and right tackle replacing offsensive linemen Cole Croston and Dan Skipper, who were both released from the team during the weekend.

Skipper, who ended up not being claimed through waivers will be returning to the Patriots' practice team as he has been reported to not be in the plans of the team for the season as Cunningham have his two eyes set on his new playbook.

“(I’m) taking It day by day, spending that extra time studying in the playbook," he said. "They brought me here for a reason, so I’ve got to uphold that and show them that I can do everything I can do.”

Right after the announcement of Cunningham, hardly an hour later was Jermaine Eluemunor announced also to have joined the team. Standing 6'4 feet tall, Eluemunor can be played at the left tackle and also as a guard. He will be replacing fourth-round rookie Hjalte Froholdt and James Ferentz as the top reserve, just like Cunningham.

Backup centre Ted Karras will be stepping in for starter David Andrews, who have a blood clots in his lungs.

Not long after Eluemunor arrival, the New England Patriots went on to add Russell Bodine from Buffalo Bills for another sixth-round pick. Following his experience, Bodine was immediately move to the starting centre of the team being one of the most experienced linemen for the Pats. He managed 10 starts for the Buffalo last year.
